What makes Avant Water so superior?

Avant Eight-Step Filtration System

1.Water is routed through a five micron sediment filter to remove sand and large particles that could be detrimental to the system.

2.Water is passed through a large carbon bed filter that removes chlorine, pesticides and volatile organic compounds.

3.Water is softened by an ion exchange water softener. This removes calcium and other hardness minerals in the water.

4.Water is re-filtered by a second five micron filter to remove any carbon or ion exchange media.

5.Water is purified by reverse osmosis.

6.Product water passes through an ultraviolet sterilizer which kills any bacteria (if present) that could be in the product water.

7.When a customer inserts money and presses a vend button, product water is routed through final carbon filters.

8.From this point the product water is vended through a proprietary retracting vend nozzle system. At the end of each vend cycle, the nozzle automatically retracts into an ozone rich atmosphere, thereby effectively disinfecting it between vends.
